Hiya, sometimes I get a bit tongue tied when I'm making a phonecall, I get all hot and worried I'm sounding stupid. But what the other person hears is probably normal, it's just your own brain working overtime and making you nervous. Do you have many friends or go out socially, cos this could help build your confidence. Do something everyday to slowly build your self esteem, like force yourself to speak to someone rather than walk past the opportunity, you'll feel such a buzz once you do. Your thought process is clearly wrong, so maybe you could get some counsilling with 'cognitive behavioural therapy' this will help you to think differently! x

Just make up your mind that you don't have to talk unless you want to. Try starting by saying short phrases, like "That's nice." "Oh, my!", getting longer, "Where did you get that?", "Do you think they might have my size?", "That is a beautiful dress or etc." Until you feel comfortable. Sometimes it depends on the people that you are around. How well do you know them?
Try to think of something to say that compliments them. People love that. Just make sure the compliment is genuine. If you want, you can practice on people at the mall. Start by finding a real compliment, especially about babies. Don't touch their little hands. Some mom's don't like that.
Good luck.

Are you nervous now? You have a problem with your spelling too. First of all ask yourself why you are nervous and scared. Then tell yourself that you are as good as everyone else and that nobody is better than you. Then go out there and stand up for yourself.

This can happen. There's nothing much you can do except practice overcoming your nervousness.
You can think in advance of things to say. Try to maintain eye contact, to breathe normally, and if you feel panic coming on, calm down.

I get really nervous too, ordering food, calling in sick, whatever. Just know that no one cares about it as much as you and you're just putting more pressure on yourself.Try to take it easy, usually it's no big deal and you're just upsetting yourself for nothing.
