Should you have to prove that you have a disability over and over and over again and how would you prove that?

Is it a true disability if you have to keep proving it over and over again or is it a temporary thing that with the proper assistance can be fixed and changed? A person with a true disability, learns to adapt to the situation and can do lots of alternative things, but a person with simple issues or problems does not really need to learn to adapt they need to learn to cope and that is different I think.

Yes, people should have to prove their disability over and over again. Mental illness is not usually a life long thing or causing life long disability. Often it's just temporary or at least the disability is with treatment. How do you prove it? By working with social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists and mental health advocates.
