Okay, I lost a tiny little piece of my plug on thursday. Then after that I had my membranes stripped the same day and she said there would be some spotting. I didn't have much spotting unil Friday, I took some castor oil to try and set things off. It gave me contractions all day (that ended up getting my hopes up and then fading away) and made me spot all day. It looked like what most women describe as my mucous plug (blood tinged mucous, varying from red to light brown at different times), but there was so much. It continued into saturday, and still is happening a little today.
Should I be worried, or is it just my mucous plug still coming out?

It's probably still the mucous plug, but you should probably see the dr. because the risk of infection goes wayyyy up.

I think because of you getting your membrains stpippeed and your mucus plug coming out all at once this is most likely the reason you are having all this. The brown is probabley old blood mixed with the blood that happens when your cervix is starting to dialate. So honestly I think you are on your way to having your baby soon. I would say don't worry and try to stop thinking about it for a bit. Alot of people I know did something to get there mind off of going into labour and that is when it happened.

It sounds unusual to me, i'd be getting it checked out. If you develop a temperature or experience a decrease in fetal movement then get yourself to an Emergency Dept ASAP.

why worry? I assume you are at full term. Relax and get some rest; labor is coming soon. You'll know for sure if you start to "nest"

Best wishes!
