EVS has been added in secondary education as it would the students well aware of the happening environmental problems and thus as we are the future citizens of India we can be more cautious and thus it will lead to an healthy environment!!!

Environmental Science is a way to indoctrinate children with the religion du jour, global warming. It's about politics, not science. You don't really need it, but it's trendy so you'll be forced to take it anyway. Just accept it and try your best, it will be over before you know it.

Yes I think that ur right bcoz me too have to study it. Students' burden is increased by one more subject. Well we cannot say that it is not a imp subject. Our HON'BLE SUPREME COURT have decided so and how can we students go against it. Mature people will simply say it is imp to save it although they are the ones destroying it the most.Anyways it really a very good question.

The environment is an on-going problem and constantly needs to be addressed. The more educated you are on the subject at every level the more chance we have on keeping this earth sustainable.

E.V.S is very important as a subject as it sensitizes students about our degrading environment and it also makes an effort for young minds to think better options to protect environment in their small ways which will eventually make alot of diffrence

it is very important b'coz today our world is under a great threat due to polution.E.V.S.teaches us how we can make this world a better place for every living being to live.I feel E.V.S. should be made compulsory from 5th grade tell 12th grade.

ur absolutely right!!!!!!!!!i too feel the same bcoz if its for primary students they might know something regarding the environment but why for secondary grades???they r already exposed to all these topics...........
