Follow this:

Start menu > Control Panel > Sounds and Audit devices > go to "Sounds" tab > in "program events" select Start Windows > Browse to your music, then click OPEN / OK on all windows.

You can test it by clicking PLAY button next to browse button.

Hope that helps!

Style 1 (Uncontrollable):

For Windows: You can set it in "Start" => "Control Panel" => "Sounds" => "Sounds Tab".

There will be a list of condition whereas Windows will auto play a sound. Look for "Windows Logon", select "Browse" and locate the audio file which you wish to play.

Please do take note that if you selected a file which is (example) 1hr long, EVERYTIME you start windows, that file will play and it will be more or less unstoppable.

Style 2 (Controllable):

For Windows: You can set it in "Start" => "Programs" => "Accessories" => "System Tools" => "Scheduled Tasks"

Select "Add Scheduled task". Click "Browse" and locate the audio file that you wish to play. Click next and select "When my computer starts". Click next, enter your password. If you have no password follow "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS" or else, just click next then finish.

Your system will now run the file EVERYTIME during startup.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
Just click next and check the "Open advanced properties for this task when i click Finish." check box then select finish.

Check the "Run only if logged on" checkbox and select "OK"
-DONE-
