The USA team have been the winner of Olympic Games for many times.
But Chinese team have risen up to the second in the Athens Olympic Games. China will be the amphitryon of the next Olympic Games. Will Chinese players win the first medal or the USA team will still win? We'll see!

I think the US will still emerge over all winners. It has well developed sports system anywhere in the world. China is still emerging. But I'd say they are not too far behind judging by their performance in the last Olympics. They are not challenging in major Olympic events that the US used to dominate such as diving, athletics, etc.
The Chinese may win the first gold medal though.

It all depends on what sport you're talking about. The US will probably take home the most medals since we are the best in a few sports and are decent in others.

think us will be good as it has al lot of people. China is still good. But I'd say they are not too far behind after judging by their performance last time.
