I have decided I'm in FAVOR of a marriage between a gay man and gay woman. That's the kind of gay marriage I'll support. And you?

Now here's the question to you. Why are you guys so obsessed with Marriage as opposed to something called Union between two women or men? I already know the answer to that. Why can't you guys just accept the fact that Marriage was invented for the heterosexuals. Not for the gays for the animals or whatever! It's for Heterosexuals! I have nothing against gays getting committed to each other and that you guys should have all the rights as Marriage but leave the word "Marriage" out of it! You guys are so obsessed cuz you just want to creep into heterosexual world as if it's a natural thing like between man and a woman. Well here's the reality check for you. Gay sex or lifestyle will NEVER EVER BE NATURAL AS THE HETEROSEXUALS! It's not just me saying it, I'm just saying that NATURE says so.

I'm against gay marriage 100%. It is a breakdown of marriage as it has been known for thousands of years. Nearly every culture for thousands of years condemned homosexuality - why did they call come to the same conclusion. It's unnatural. Not only that, it's flat out unhealthy. While married heterosexuals live longer and have health benefits, gays die younger, have more STD's, have higher incididents of alcohol, drugs, and sexual child abuse (in percentages) than heterosexuals. Many of the gay marriages are "arrangements" and there is no attempt to remain monogamous, cheapening marriage.

Remember when adultery and fornication in the 70's were the big sins. Now they are afterthoughts and very common. When people saw us getting rid of sodomy laws, no one said it would lead to gay marriage. If you allow gay marriage under the guise of civil rights, in 50 years you will have polygamy, and in 100 years you will have pedophilia. Polygamy has to be allowed under civil rights, and gay leaders and some professors have already tried to lower the age of sexual consent. Removing one taboo paves the way for the removal of the next, and religion can't function with destroying the basic family structure.

You are right. Actually every else has a similar opinion, If a man and a woman apply for a marrige licence people assume they are straight, so it really does'nt matter if they are gay or not. The controversy is about re-defining marriage. In some maximum security prisons, marriage is defined as a union of a man and his punk.

Marriage no. If you are gay that is fine with me, I dont care. But for it to be legal marriage is wrong. That will open the door for more preple to milk our system.

I support all gay marriages, and I'll tell you why:

It's the right of every citizen to be able to enter into legal contracts with one another!

Okay I see your point. A hetero marriage where neither party are happy and love each other. Maybe they procreate, and guess what there is more unhappiness. They love their kids, but eventually they will seperate, and who is hurt then. Maybe you should post elsewhere (maybe in the politics section), and leave the gays and lesbians alone.

the irony, of course, is that a legal union between a gay man and a gay woman is perfectly legal... and a union between towo people of the same sex who are actually in love and able tomaintain a relationship is not recognized... goofy...
