My wife tells me I can't be tamed. Best she's been able to do is get the lasso around my neck...but she's told me she gave up trying to break me a long time ago...hehehe!

If it was a joke as you said, then it means nothing. You seem to doubt whether it really was a joke. If you felt that it was not really meant as a joke, then ask your friend what did they really mean. They are the only one who can answer the question and tell what they really meant.

You didn't say if the friend that said it was male or female..if it was a male it is because he is interested in you and wants to be the one to help settle you down, making you his girlfriend takes you out of the dating game for other guys...if it was a female she is trying to be nice, saying your too wild and impulsive in your behavior. She's just wanting you to slow it down some before you go too far and get hurt
