why bother asking this question?? If you do not like cricket, dont 'chase' it. But atleast dont stop others from 'chasing' it. It's partly a culture thing, but it's also because my country plays cricket, so obviously i will be interested in it. I don't 'chase' cricket. It's not a wild animal! LOL

The world is a free place. Do what you want... but dont ask futile questions..... At the end of the day, I am sure everyone will agree there are many other sports, not cricket alone... It doesnt take rocket science to know that!!!!!!

glorious uncertainties of the game that's cricket for you, the five day stuff is more in the mind than in the body, might seem boring at times but in a flash the complexion can change, no team can take it for granted in the longer version of the game. The shorter version it is a challenge both for the bowler and the batsman to get the better of the other. At the end of the day, it is cricket that is winning despite all the dark clouds. If u havn't watched a good match, watch it for y'self n y'll know it. Certainly not the only sport in the world. You'll be on the edge of yr seat most of the time watching a cricket match.

May be earlier it was that we have been chasing only cricket
but the story has been different.
Even in the past we have been looking at Vijay Amritraj, PT Usha and our great Hockey heroes who lifted the world cup.
Unfortunately those being induvidual sport and not much of telecasting for games outside India unlike
Cricket and Soccer which are being widely telecast on all the sports channels the public view is restricted to those games and hence the craving

The whole world watching cricket because of its standard. For Indians its a name and fame also a high earning, a good National revenue. I too, don't hate cricket but hardly watch as a odd man. I believe, whatever big earning in world cricket, the value with country lost may not compensate in terms of time, with the millions hour watching in a stadium or in front of Television or else the works performed at this odd hours could bring a great change otherwise, more expansion of game plan may one day bring a disaster.

It is a real pity to show quiet a large a very large interest in cricket especially cricket players , its really sad that players cannot play the game as they really wanted it to be, nor can we enjoy the match which we did once upon a time, though we did not know much of a cricket but we enjoyed winning and losing but now there is no joy or sadness , as it was before. It is high time we ddont indulge in cricket too much. the same with sania in tennis, it saps or sucks away , which was there in all of us, but now it is not the same, the full joy and enthusiasm of the game has gone away.
