Diana's death was rather a shock for me too...I found out watching tv in the morning before work.

I'll say Steve Irwin, though. I found him to be a very likeable person, and thought of Bindi and Bob losing their father so young and Terri being a widow. I actually found out on Yahoo Answers. The question was: "What are we going to do without Steve Irwin?" At first I just thought his show was going off the air, and got quite a shock when I started reading the answers and found out he was dead.

Yes Princess Dianna did shock me but I think I was the most upset when John Ridder died. It was like losing a family member, I have seen him on TV my whole life and now being a mom, he did the voice of Clifford the big red dog and so he was part of my kids lives too. That was a hard one for me! Steve Irwin bothered me too, Why do we get so involved with famous peoples lives? Oh one more was the Reeves, Christopher and Dana. Hers bothered me more bec it was so unexpected!

To
Xynaine the Sane, James Earl Jones isnt dead! I just looked it up and he is still alive so I dont know what show you just saw that one but it isnt true :)

I know that this will be admitting that i am getting old,but for me it was the death of ''Elvis Presley'' I was at work and we heard about it on the radio that was playing over the intercom. There were about 315 women working at the factory with me,and i think that we all had a good cry that day about his death.

That would probably be the day Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and The Big Bopper died in that plane crash in 1959. I was in Jr High then and we got the word over the PA system.
