I love horror movies. Chick flicks do nothing for me, and I hate films that feature children, especially ones with page boy hair cuts. Give me a gory horror film any day. Braindead is fantastic, really gory but a bit pukesome in places. I don't like horror films that only show violence towards women though, I think that's a bit iffy.
But yes, I agree that horror films are the best.

I agree my friends don't like horror movies much either and we tend to end up watching chick flicks again and again. A good horror film can scary as well as funny in places.

I love horror films.....probably my favorite genre besides war movies. I really enjoy the classics---Nosferatu, The Blob, Night of the Living Dead, but my favorites all come from my younger days....Jaws, Halloween, The Amityville Horror........into the '80's. I do enjoy the films of today as well, and hope that they continue to be original and creative, like The Ring, instead of re-treads like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ( the original is awesome).

i love horry movies, however, i find that there are relatively few good ones which really annoys me. Chick flicks get boring after a while as the plots are always the same

I like watching them, but I haven't seen any good ones lately. It has been awhile since I viewed a good horror movie that didn't lack or fall apart at some point. The exorcist is one of my classic favorites, mainly because of the "based on a true storyness" of it.
