Cheney commited treason to deflect criticism from Wilson that the White House had misinterpreted intelligence that helped lead the country to war. So why is Scooter on trial? I'm glad I dont have friends like Cheney........

Libby told a grand jury that Cheney was so upset about Wilson's allegations that they discussed them daily after the article appeared. "He was very keen to get the truth out," Libby testified, quoting Cheney as saying, "Let's get everything out."

Yeah, Libbey is the fall guy and I don't think hes happy about it.
Bush the elder passed a law that said the exposure of a CIA operative is punishable by law, Bush the elder was a former head of the CIA so it stands to reason he had experience in the matter. Libbey disclosed the name to several journalists in an attempt to discredit the report on yellowcake uranium that Plames husband filed at CIA request. We were supposed to think that because he was her husband he wasn't any good at his job and his intel was flawed, when in fact it just didn't jibe with what the president wanted.
Now Libbey has been hung out to dry so the rest of them don't have to admit how much they bent the truth to get us into this war. Cheney won't even testify

Nah. Libby is on trial for perjury. As for Cheney, haven't you heard that Richard Armitage is the one who told Robert Novak about Valerie Plame. Cheney had nothing to do with it.

Oh, by the way, Armitage is a vocal critic of the war in Iraq, so he's hardly in the Bush inner circle.
