Homosexuals On Campaign To Undermine Military
August 17, 2006 – Homosexual activists are planning a new publicity campaign to undermine the military’s “don’t’ ask, don’t tell” policy on homosexuals openly serving in the armed forces.

The latest attempt to undermine the military is to send openly homosexual males and females into military recruiting offices and tell the recruiters they wanted to enlist in the service. Activists recently did this in Philadelphia where three of them were turned down by the recruiter after saying they were homosexuals.

These three activists are part of the Right to Service Campaign of Soulforce, a homosexual group founded by Mel White. This campaign is also linked to efforts in Congress by pro-homosexual legislators to pass the Military Readiness Enhancement Act. An estimated 119 Congressmen have agreed to co-sponsor this bill.

What are you so afraid of, really?

Gays serve in the military, already, but without respect & dignity which all soldiers, gay or straight, deserve.

Gays serve openly in every major European country, and those Euro-gay soldiers are fighting alongside U.S. troops right now, as we speak.

But what are YOU so afraid of? Racial bigots allowed blacks to die in WWII and in Korea without equality -- you sound exactly like those hate-mongers.

Again, what are YOU so afraid of?

Hmm, I wonder where you found this article.

No offense intended, but considering that the majority of servicemembers could care less about sexuality, and are more concerned whether you could do your job, they should just change the current policies and state whether they care or don't about your sexuality, and whether you're fit to serve because of it.

The current policy leaves a large grey area which has spawned witch hunts (trust me, I've seen them), which has resulted in the dismissal of numerous qualified servicemembers.

I have served, and still serve with soldiers who are homosexual, both quite openly, and less openly.

To be honest, I don't care what their sexuality is. They are willing to serve our country, so why should we prohibit them. It's not like they are mentally or physically incapable of doing so.

Just my opinion.

Besides, considering tat the number of dismissals has gone down due to being in a war, the writer of that article should really get his head examined, or an IQ test.

I can't understand why the military would care about a soldier's sexual orientation. Thinking that the only reason a gay man would join the military is to fulfill some kind of dark sexual desire is prejudiced, ignorant, and close-minded. Your ability to defend our country and serve justice has NOTHING to do with your sexual orientation! Would you rather be engaged in war with a gay man there to help you or with someone who isn't fully qualified to save your *** if needed? And if people are so against having homosexuals in the military, what's next? Do you want them excluded from service in the fire department? Police? Judicial process? When does it end?

Don't Ask Don't Tell is a scam. Another bull crap policy "undermining" young gay men and women in the United States who are led to believe that if they remain "quiet" about their sexual orientation while serving in the military, they will not be harassed or discharged.

The truth is quite different. Since the policy went into effect more men and women have been "followed" & "targeted" by C.I.D. and subsequently discharged due to their sexual orientation.

Moral of this story: Eat me.

When I was in the Navy, there was no "don't ask, don't tell" policy.

There has to be asking, and there has to be telling -- because the primary purpose of the military is to defend the country, and win wars, not to be objects of social experimentation.

Serving in the military is not about "equal rights campaigns" or anything like that.

No doubt there have been "in the closet" homosexuals who have served honorably in the military. But unit cohesion suffers big-time whenever someone's homosexual orientation is known. And it affects the unit's ability to carry out its mission.

I thought they had that we don't ask or care attitude. They were turning the other way as long as it didn't interfere in the mission.I always thought that they changed their policy so they could implement the draft. Now people can't go to the recruiters and say I am gay you can't draft me.

Again, does sexual orientation determine a good soldier? I think not. Probably the best fighting unit in the military would be a ban of lesbians, who are quite focused on their objectives in life.

I think it's pretty dumb because it's like assuming all homosexuals are sexual fiends and want to have sex with anyone of their same gender. The few homosexuals I've met over my life seem to be rational people and capable of doing anything a heterosexual person of the same gender could do.

I was in the military and its just a practical way of dealing with the issue. Gay issues really do disrupt things in the military. Sorry but its true

regrettably for homosexuals...something that has to do with the army does not enable homosexuals......yet decrease than the "do no longer Ask, do no longer tell" coverage you are able to connect any military software interior the u . s . yet you are able to no longer say that your gay or act gay. so no gay habit is authorized.
