terrorist means anything that GW Bush suggests that it means. It can be axis of evil or freedom fighter, because it has no meaning.
Is anyone suggesting that USA as homeland is being invaded ? What happens in Guantanamo Bay is wrong and against all Human Rights. Free the Miami5 held illegally by the USA on grounds of terrorism

Terrorists do harm to others (or to property) in order to stir up fright and anxiety, thereby advancing whatever cause or ideology they support. Terrorists target people or property not associated with (or impacting) their cause, simply to make a point...or create a headline. Their goals are to provoke fear and to draw attention.
A people defending their homeland target the occupiers ONLY--not nearby innocent civilians, businesses or public resources. They mount a resistance that is aimed at repelling an attacking/invading force...not at killing their own countrymen.
At least in my mind...there is a marked difference between these two activities (albeit both result in innocent lives lost).

the probabilities of the USA being occupied via the different us of a in the subsequent a hundred years are tremendously narrow. perhaps the chinese language could handle it, very nearly. Terrorists? don't be daft. The sort of terrorists in the international can probable count number in the loads or maybe a pair of thousand. that incorporates the Provisional IRA who're not at risk of be attracted to elementary Islam. adequate, all counted, to occupy Andorra or Monaco perhaps. often although they won't occupy Belgium, and there are community government factors in Australia better than Belgium. the risk of terrorist is a great deal over-rated. The fuss is by way of the fact the airplane hijackers of eleven September struck on the midsection persons capitalism, Wall highway, and it quite is Wall highway that runs the USA.

A terrorist is one who kills or causes harm in order to create fear or intimidation.
Defending your homeland from occupation is different as long as you are fighting the occupation force and not targeting civilians.

Terrorist also include civilians as a legitimate target and do not follow the Geneva convention. You can argue that armed Palestinian who shoots Israeli soldiers and takes aim not to hurt Israeli civilians is not a terrorist. If that same Palestinian, puts on a C4 tuxedo then detonates himself in a public bus or crowded market, is most definitely a terrorist.

Yes there is an enormous difference. Terrorists provoke fear and terror for ideology, defending your home is understandable to all but the craziest anti-muslims.

It has to do with who their target is. If it is a legitimate military target (Bin Laden, Saddam, his worthless sons, a ist leader, ect..., then you don't have ism, you have military action. If your intention is to kill as many people as possible, if you want to just kill Jews, then you are a ist. It's pretty simple. that's why I don't consider what Israel does to be ism, because they target ist leaders.
