October is usually a cold month so there'd be no large music festivlas. Theres usualy quite a few in the summer like Leeds, Reading which i think are in August.

The festival season usually winds up in september, so i don't think you'll find any large ones!

try pollstar.com. look up your city or cities there and find all the music and when.
