I love the fact that when the Aussies show that they are human and have a few losses, people start jumping up and down writing the death of Aussie cricket!! Seems to give a lot of people more joy than when their own team wins which is a shame!!
So what - they have lost some games - it happens!! This may be a sign they are not as strong as before, or it may be something that galvanises them before the World Cup to prove the naysayers wrong! Only time will tell.
And Mr Indian X - Brett Lee has not retired!! He is simply injured! And Shane Warne is a loss - in TEST cricket!! He retired from ODI cricket 4 years ago and we have been quite successful without him! hey, we won the last World Cup without him!

No one is unbeatable. Of the 8 top teams in the world of cricket, all are capable of beating the other team. This world cup is going to be one of the best. Super 8 league matches will be interesting and it would be very difficult to predict as to who is going to lift the World cup. Though it looks RSA and Aussies, very strong contenders but teams like, India, England, NZ, Sri Lanka, Pak and West Indies are not far behind. RSA are very good at their pitches, but how would they fare at slow pitches is any body's guess.

I guess its just a temporary slump that every team goes through. Unfortunately for the Aussies, its come at the wrong time.
Not that I'm not celebrating.. something like Federer out of form, eh? Good chance for others to have a grab..

It was indeed a pathetic performance by Australia. They will have tgo sit down and think seriously about their game plan and team combination if they have to reall,y pose a challenge in the world cup.
