Or it could mean that Australia will regroup and perform better.
I was starting to worry about the arrogance of the team and whether that would sustain them through the World Cup.
I don't think that the departure of Warne and McGrath would have made much difference to a squad with such depth.

Remember, South Africa lost the World Cup in the semi-finals with a botched with a catch celebration that went wrong. If Australia had waltzed in as unbackable favourites they may have had a shock too.

This should open the World Cup up and get other teams keen for a win because everyone will feel like a chance against Australia.

Win we win the World Cup? Hmmmmmm.

OK pal, whatever you reckon.......

Australia have been at the top of the pile for so long, that when they lose a couple of games everyone says "That's the end of their era". B0llocks.....

Let's see what you have to say in a few weeks time.

India to win the World Cup?? Not a chance, they'll be out before the semis.

At last supremacy of Australia in world cricket ended now and they have to start working out new game plan and team combination to pose any real challenge in the world cup.
