Has anyone ever used Naturalawn. I have a small lawn, about 60ft by 60. They want to charge me $61 per treatment for a total of 7 treatments for the year. This seems really expensive. Is this worth it? Can I do this myself? I don't really understand what it is they are doing.

I work for a co. in Florida that's sounds high.... But they may have a minimum and you may be a long drive just to do your lawn. So take that in to effect. If there are other lawns on your street being sprayed, i say they are high.

I just looked them up on the internet and they basically are putting organic fertilizer on your lawn.

I guess it depends on how much work you want to do yourself but I think you can do what they are doing, on your own. Do some research. Find out what type of treatments your lawn needs. If you really want to go organic, there are plenty of websites that will tell you what to do. Check out Jerry Baker's website. He has several books, available on his website, Amazon and also from the PBS store, that deal with lawn care and how to do it organically.

If you don't want to do the work yourself, then I guess paying someone $500 a year works but personally, I get more enjoyment out of getting out there and working on the yard myself.

One thing I would recommend before you do anything is to get your soil tested to find out what you need before you start putting stuff on it. Most state ag depertments will do the test for a small fee. Your local lawn and garden center can probably advise you on getting a soil sample and getting it tested. Different soils need different compounds for grass or any other plant to grow. If you have a lot of clay, you may need gypsum. If your soil is alkyline, you'll need one thing. If it's acidic, you'll need another.

In the end, it's a question of do you want to do the work or do you want to pay someone else to do it for you.

Naturalawn or Nutri -lawn? They tend to be expense but work. I don't believe aeration twice a year is nessessary ,Unless you have clay instead of dirt,. spring fertilizer? Grass grows anyways. weeds spray (yes) merit for grubs(yes) fall ferilizer(yes). They may say (nutri , nutural) but they still use pesticides (,weeds, merit) I would not suggest doing it yourself . There are tonnes of lawn care professionals out there ,.Talk to your neighbor's Even the small lawncare guys. This is just my opinion because I too think they over charge.
