As General George S. Patton said: "There is no lower form of life than a politician! And there is no lower form of politician than a Liberal Democrat!"

I do not trust any politician republican or democrat. I vote based on who I feel is the lessor of the two evils. Most people do!

Well, you cannot trust your politicians. Remember, that they are people who are not interested in the good of the general public, but rather, power-hungry individuals who are solely interested in their own personal gains from their political career, whether it be power or money.

Do we truly know what their actual views are? No. They'll say all sorts of things to gain votes from the public. Just vote for whatever person you feel will do the things that you want.

Simply put you cannot trust a politician, ever. The only time they are lying is when their lips are moving.

You could have stopped that question at "How can we trust politicians?"

You can't. You should succeed in life despite them, because no one has ever succeeded because of them.
