I'm a teenage boy who lives in a great rich family, I go to the best school, I'm completly healthy, I get good grades and have everything I want but sometimes I feel that there is something missing, even when I finish everything I need to do (do my homework, call X, talk to Y...), is this feeling normal?

Well it depends. Are you in a relationship with a girl and do you believe in religion?
Most people feel like there is something missing in their life's even when it seems to them that they have everything. You may have all the material things you want in your life but lets see what might be missing....
1. Do you have good strong friendships that you know they ain't just your friends cause of your money?
2. Do you believe in God or any other religion that you might take up? (this is mostly the reason most people feel that 'there is something missing')
3. Do you have good steady dreams and goals to strive for and give your life a good enough reason to 'go for it' every morning?
4. and do you truly believe that you have everything? I mean wealth and belonging ain't everything. In fact when it all comes down to it, it doesn't mean anything, at all, at the end. You know deep down inside what you really need in your life. Realize it and make yourself feel more complete in life...

You're not receiving the love and validation that you are in need of from your family. Given the fact that you come from a rich family there is a chance that the career/business/money is more important than the family unit so you're feeling as if you need to compete with the money and standards that come with money i.e. the need to excel so you can achieve the same financial success your family has achieved. Find what brings true joy to you and be content with that whatever it is..provided it's emotionally/physically healthy. Good luck young'n!

The fact that it bothers you is not necessarily normal or abnormal. You miss having something in your life. You say nothing about feeling loved. If you don't feel loved, that could be the reason for feeling alienated. So ask your self is that the reason. If your answer is yes, then tell your parents. If you can't go to them then tell God, HE WILL LISTEN AND ASK JESUS TO COME INTO YOUR HEART.
I will say prayers for you.

there is something missing. its called challenge. you dont have it because youre given everything. if you wanted something your parents runs right out and gets it. it doesnt mean as much to you if you had to scrape and save in order to get it. doing for youself means alot more than being kept.
