I have this laptop, and a few months ago the screen went black for no reason, however, I have brought another screen from ebay, and fitted this and the same problem, anyone have any advice. At the moment I have it running through a seperate monitor, which somewhat defeats the object of having a laptop, please help !!!

sounds like it may be a bad inverter

IT WOULD APPEAR YOU NEED A SCREEN INVERTER,it is a little pc board that fits under screen,can only be got at by removind screen surround,email me for further help john
