I am a great fan of Miyazaki san's works.Princess Mononoke was my first and I felt that it was something different than the other anime movies. So I did a little research on studio Ghibli and eventually got my hand on My Neighbor Totoro. It was simply amazing. Then I collected many other Ghibli movies, Nausica the valley of wind, Howl's moving castle, Spirtited away, Whisper of the heart and many others. Among all of them my favorite is Whisper of the Heart. I watched several times and even read the original manga.
I can say only one thing about Miyazaki san's movies, they have fantastic artwork, super fantastic message and even more super fantastic story.

I love everything from Studio Ghibli, I couldn't really pin down a favorite as it were, but I would have to rate Laputa, Castle in the sky and My neighbor Totoro very very highly. Kiki's delivery service next, and also Mononoke and Sen to Chihiro... Miyazaki-sensei has a quality about him that no one can seem to get close to, many have tried, but none can imitate.

TOTORO ROCKS!!!!! Sorry, I've been watching that movie since I was little. Yeah, second favorite for me is Howl's Moving Castle and then Kiki's Delivery Service...and then all of the others....

Yes, I have the whole collection except the last two. I'm working on getting them soon. Love Castle in the Sky and Valley of Wind, they started it all sooo many years ago.

i like Howls shifting fortress. My family contributors additionally like my neighbor totoro,the cat returns,whisper of the middle,kikis delivery provider,princess mononoke,and grave of the fireplace flies :) What am i able to assert they are all super! we actually love studi ghibli.

Yeah I really love them! I hate the american dubbed voices on the english version of spirited away though... so I tend to watch them in Japanese with subtitles.

"Spirited away" is great (more than "Howl" and "Laputa").
Did you ever saw a TV serie by Miyazaki intitled "Sherlock Hound"?
