They are true friends if they stay with you no matter what situation are you, no matter it is good or bad. They will always cheer for you when you're down and will always put you in ground, and if you have done something wrong they will not tolerate you, they will correct it.

If you can trust them with your deepest darkest secret secure in the knowledge they won't tell. If they support you (and vice versa) in times of trouble and have fun in better times. If they respect you and would never flirt with your boyfriend. If you feel safe and secure enough to be yourself and they accept you for who you are.

well its very easy to know ..every one is ur friend when u r popular..but the friends which is with u when u r sad or when u r needy then those r ur best friends..the friends which stops u from doing somthing bad is ur best friend..
