A diploma course is of what duration and what are DCA and pgdca?

diploma course is longer and relatively harder to achieve compared to a certificate course.
a diploma course usually includes general education like english, sociology, math etc. and major subjects. plus maybe training or practicum or on the job training.
whereas in a certificate course it usually just has training and practical courses and minimal theoretical classes.

All most all courses in which technical skill is required comes under Diploma Course. Depending upon subject the duration various from 6 months to 3 years.
DCA = Diploma in Computer Application
pgdca = Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application.
