I don't know what Eludium P.38 is used for, but Illudium PU 36 is an explosive space modulator. It was originally called Uranium PU 36, but the name was changed.

It's used to blow things up, like the Earth.

Ask Marvin the Martian, I think it's supposed to blow up earth so he can see venus, or is it mars.
