I don't know, personally I think it's a load of BS. And yet straights are the ones that CONSTANTLY bash gays. What the heck? Why don't both of us be tolerant towards the other?
FYI, I am a straight guy.

I think you mean tolerant in the sense that straight people think gay people are wrong and vice versa. Everyone should be able to live their lives as they see fit and be who they are without having to deal with intolerance.

I've never heard of a straight person telling a gay person to be tolerant of them (straight person). I've always heard it as gays telling straight people to be tolerant of them (gays).

I think you will find it is the other way around, although no one ever has much tolerance for another person who does not think the same way they do.
