Hi Fred, your absolutely right, there needs to be some external monitoring of MP's wages. It is scandalous that they just vote themselves a pay rise whenever they want. Even more scandalous is the pensions MP,s have voted in for themselves, the New labour party has destroyed private pension schemes leaving hundreds of thousands of people who have paid into such schemes without a single penny for their old age. A separate impartial body not made up of MP,s should be formed to monitor MP,s wages to ensure no rises occur higher than inflation or more than that of the electorate the MP,s serve. I believe the only party to consider such a policy is the BNP, no wonder the other parties are so much against them.

We as a rustic must be careful of the means of the media interior the international right this moment (frequently adverse). Politicians are no longer saints, and prefer something human beings there'll be stable ones and not so stable ones. i like to think of that i'm a realist, and for years interior the industry that I artwork in, I even have been conscious that persons take issues that they are certainly no longer entitled to, perks of the activity you recognize!! i do no longer condone fiddling of expenses or of any style, and that i'd decide to think of that our individuals of parliament have been truthful previous reproach. consistent with hazard the media ought to behave responsibly and checklist on the valuable aspsects besides through fact the adverse. the european parliament undertake a greater lifelike strategies-set to those subject concerns, they have an annual budget that contains a corruption factor, each year there are hundreds of pounds that are fiddled out of different budgets/contracts, and its previous anyones administration, and in addition they budget for it. all of us realize it is going on, and if somebody would have performed some thing approximately it i've got self assurance that they might have performed so already. If we study our historic previous, coruption of a few style has consistently been with us ever considering we've had a ruling type or physique. via the way i'm an engineer via commerce and not a flesh presser.

Even local councillors are required to have expenses audited and published. So too for members of Parliament. Stop whingeing here and research the subject. We do have a Freedom of Information Act!
