The Bad News Bears
Billy Bob Thornton could not come close to Walter Matthau's 1976 classic Coach Buttermaker. The 2005 remake was rubbish.

Starskey & Hutch although technically thats a remake of a TV series. So if it's strictly a movie than The Italian Job. Not a bad film in it's own right but just using the tittle of a classic for marketing purposes.

The Stepford Wives
King Kong
The Fog
Red Dragon (remake of Manhunter)
The Longest Yard
take your pick. Most of the remakes are bad. Why can't Hollywood come up with an original idea instead of feeding us nothing but remakes, sequels, and prequels?

Get Carter with Silvester Stallone - Michael Caine was gritty and tough, and so was the location in Newcastle Upon Tyne - even the way the film was shot was grainy and rough. Sly hammed it up too much and the whole thing came across weak and as hard as a plate of jelly

In my opinion, it was Last Man Standing starring Bruce Willis, which was a remake of A Fistful of Dollars - Clint Eastwood

Psycho films, not a patch on the original. But in my opinion, all remakes are rubbish, they are just trying to make a fast buck, but get it wrong every time

i myself do no longer prefer to declare this because of the fact i admire Queen Latifa very lots, regardless of the undeniable fact that that's Taxi. i did no longer like what Tim tale did to Luc Besson's mindblowing flick. There advantageous are worse remakes, yet it incredibly is the worst i've got seen...

One that springs to mind is Night Of The Hunter, in the original Robert Mitchum was so chilling and scary, Richard Chamberlain was not very good at all.
