advice about psp?

can anyone advise me if it is possible to fix a psp? the screen is not cracked , but when switched on it has lines running through half of the screen, our wee boy dropped it & he is broken hearted......any one with this kind of knowledge

hmmm, if i were you i would take it to your nearest game store, they will definitely give you advice, they may even give a replacement (actually, does that sound a bit ambitious?)
