i need to play this game which needs memory:512MB RAM.now i have 502MB RAM.Do i need to buy or pgrade coz i dont have clue,if i need to buy a new1,cn i buy it and add it to the 1 im now having.plz plz heelp me plz...i mean the memory not the page file

502MB should work fine with the game, are you sure you have the correct graphics card?

is the graphic card on the motherboard (built in)?
if so then it sounds like 8 meg of ram is used for the graphics....by todays standards 8 meg is not going to play any games to full potantial.
512 of ram is adequate for most games so i would suggest getting an add on graphics card....for this you need to know what type of card your motherboard supports.
there should also be a setting in your bios to share more memory to the graphics, but this will result in less free ram.

no stick is exact. apparently you already have 512 which just doesnt register. it could be shared video or a number of things. you either have to go to a higher stick or additional depending on whether you have an open port or not...good luck.

You needn't increase the pc's ram memory.because 512M and
502M mean the same thing. there is 8M ram memory been distributed to the video system.
