I went there for a while and it was really nice. It was amazing to see things I've only seen in books as a child. I got to take language classes and make lots of new friends.
Contrary to popular belief, Russian people are not cold, but open and warm if you give them a chance.
I had a great time and look forward to going again sometime.

The only Russian I've met lately are students and Jewish immigrants.They seem nice enough. The Russians I dealt with back in the seventies were more like monstrous machines than people, But that was the military.

I've never been there in Russia. But I have Russian friend and he is kind and nice person. He is so real and not phony, I like it.

Yes, though I've never been. Rich history, culture - just a horrible current president. Makes me very appreciative of my liberties as an american.
