A wise man has rightly said if you don't study books, you should not read news papers. All religions preach peace. Islam is no exception to it.
A back ground of history is essential for blaming any community. You must go to root causes which are political in nature and are results of nationalism which itself is an evil. Some groups were formed during Soviet Union attack on Afghanistan. No attempt was made to disarm them. Rest you must be knowing very well. In Rwanda Priests were also involved in burning churches where poor people took shelter. Events in two world wars need no comments.There had been acts of terrorism in many countries not populated by Muslims. You may visit any Islamic center to get satisfactory reply of your question.

hmm, I wonder why. mohamad, first tried using peace to gain followers. That didn't work so he called them infedels and terrorized & killed them. This is a large cycle of violence that must be stopped. If preaching polotics is illegal, then preaching mumslim terror should be also.
