Does anyone know if there is a backpacker's hostel in Delphi (or similar type of cheap dorm accommodation. I'd like it to be in Delphi, so I can walk to the ancient sites. If so, is there a web site for booking it?
I've searched hostelworld.com, but they only have hotels in Delphi.

Did you check the prices? I stayed in Delphi in the summer a few years ago, and the room rates where really low. Contact the hotels directly, and ask them for a good price!

We stayed at Lefas, had a nice room and a balcony with a stunning view.

25 EUR for a private room and close to the archeological sites - what more can you want? Do you think you pay any less for a hostel?

The site is the offcial site for the modern town and has a list of all the hotels in Dephi. Maybe you can try to contact the tourist office in Fokida for a cheap pension?

Hmmm .... not easy.
The only place i could find was the Hermes ....might be worth requesting a price.
