ummm.....well.....u feed it, you play wit it, u connect with other tamaogaichis and wait for it to become an adult....

You cannot train it the same way you can train a Version 4, if that's what you're referring to.

However, you can affect your Tamagotchi's growth pattern by the way you nurture it, play with it, and etc. For example Mamaetchis require you to care for your pet well in its earlier stages.
