I don't bother using it, I figure that on here we all make mistakes so it doesn't really matter. If something is spelt really wrong then I sometimes edit and change it

I'd be impressed if some of those writing answers to some questions knew the difference between American and English spelling, never mind the difference between right and wrong spelling in either language.

I use the spell check as a first line defence, however if I see any dodgy incorrect spellings (i.e. americano) I have a British English dictionary on my desk. There is absolutely nothing worse than bad spelling. It gives the impression of a lack of education, laziness and couldn't care less attitude. From my experience any letters of applications for jobs with spelling mistakes go straight to the waste paper bin.

Spell check is great,,,,,but if you are a little or even a lot dyslexic spell check is not always going to help.

I have a tip for you. Just check all the spelling for yourself and make sure that everybody understands it.

The spell check gives recommendations. Be sure you are accepting the recommendations, by clicking on it...if the recommendations are what you want.
