Yes. After 7 years I still have dreams of my ex. Sometimes they happen quite a bit. We were married for 26 years and have 3 great kids, I think I'm just used to thinking about him. When I'm awake I'm way too happy these days to relive those miserable stressful times. Some residual emotions still exist, even though he's now more of a drugged out theiving liar than ever. When I ask my kids how he is doing, they tell me the awful things he has done lately. Somewhere deep inside I feel so sorry for the person I tried to love for so long. I guess that comes out in my sleep when I have dreams of him, unfortunately.

If your still having dreams about a person who has moved on out of your life and not a member of your family you are sick and should go and see a doctor. You don't give details of your relationship but it seems to me she dumped you and if that is the case for whatever reason she has used you and you should count your Lucky stars you found out before the relationship went a little further. Most woman are dramatist and lead your life a misery so, when the opportunity comes when a woman thinks your so boring (and they all do at sometime in a relationship) and dumps you, let them have their dramatics and think yourself lucky you got out in time. Sounds bad dos't it? but just wait till you find a new younger model. Don't worry so much, forget her and enjoy every moment of your life, there is no time for regrets. If you need a woman 'Naughty Red' (No relation to me)on this forum seems to meet the bill. At least when you go out with a slag you don't have to worry about being dumped, there are some nice girls about but you have to be so careful.

I've been divorced for 10 years and I still have dreams of my ex...very hot dreams actually. I don't think it means anything except that this person exists in your subconscious mind. There are a lot of people there and they will pop out from time to time.
Try to avoid dairy products and chocolate before bed. I hear that they can trigger more dreams. You may want to try taking a sleep aide. There are several non-narcotic products around. A few nights taking that might be enough to stop them all together and it will give you a chance to think about something else duing daylight hours.

My ex and I divorced almost 4 years ago, and occasionally I still have dreams of her....being with her in different situations etc. Sometimes they're quite pleasant for a while, but they usually end pretty badly (like our relationship I suppose). These dreams do annoy me, because they're sometimes hard to shake off when I wake up & they make me feel a bit sad or angry about the past. I believe it's your brain sorting out your memory cells whilst you sleep, but I wish I could delete them like in the film 'Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless mind'. I hope yours will stop sooner than mine....

If you spend more than 3 months in a monogamous relationship, that person is going to become a vivid part of your life. Just like any other chosen or blood family member, this person will continue to be someone with whom we associate. Especially in our dreams.
..Its important to understand that your dreams are 100% about you. That within our dreams we go over all the issues of our own life. Our dreams address our physical health, our mental health, our spirituality (or lack thereof) Our finances, prejudices, fears, hopes and memories. Each place, each person, each color, each motor skill, ALL have a specific symbol, in which they address.
..Dreams in which we're kissing or being kissed RARELY have physical connection to the person with whom we kiss, but on the contrary. It is the emotional behavior of that person that is being addressed. For example, a dream in a garden symbolizes ones spirituality. The state of the garden is how you view your spirituality. Is it vibrant, and nurtured, healthy and exciting? Or is it Dark, and disheveled, a dying place? Now to dream you are being kissed (non romantically) symbolizes a need for approval, or someone you hold in high regard. Kissing (romantically) is addressing your own emotional trust.
.. Being kissed (by an ex, or otherwise) in the garden, symbolizes or rather denotes an end to your spiritual means.
.. So kissing in your garden is you addressing your spirituality, and the person with whom you are finding this emotional trust, is not necessarily a person you want to be laying next to, in the tall grass *smile* but rather, a person with whom is influential in the way you address your spirituality.

Generally, such a ghost from the past presents seeds of prophesy if heeded closely and handled with care. But, as you might expect, an ex-girlfriend is one of the few visions you don't want lingering for too long in your bed. Most important is your emotional reaction to her appearance. Both the strength and quality are meaningful.
And yea, I have experienced my ex in my dreams, but nothing like yours.

Means nothing. It certainly doesnt mean she getting back with you if thats what you wanted to hear. I dreamt about an ex from years back. But we are friends even after 14 years apart.

well, I loved my ex, when we broke up ..but ...I'm not really totally over her yet, ...I think yes, it can happen ....and you're never going to totally forget a person you once loved deeply, especially if you broke up still loving her ...but, the feelings will fade out by being far away from her and not talking to her at all .....but, you will always dreamed about her at different interval of times, but not totally forget her...!!!
Good Luck !!
