Do you not think in America now how people are saying we need a black president or a women president, they are the real racist and sexist people? Surely it should be on how well you could manage a country not what colour your skin is or what sex you are!

Mantadogu - If a country with 200 years had no black or women presidents apart from it might be discrimination, but how many black people and women have previously run for president? Or it might be that their policies dont make sense... only a thought

I agree that the best man or woman for the job should be president. Until the electoral college system is ended, Americans will never really "vote" for their president.

Most of the people I hear saying we need a black president or a women president are blacks and women. No, I do not think that necessarily makes them racist or sexist (though I am acquainted with some blacks and women who are indeed racist and sexist). Everyone is talking about and/or contemplating Americans electing a woman, black, or or even Mormon because sex, race and religion are potentially polarizing issues.
I agree, skin color and sex are not important factors affecting one's ability to manage and lead a country.

McCain mentioned all those issues and that they are nicely documented. So the prize for being a bigot, sexist and racist fairly does bypass to him. yet you left off a number of the insults like the B be conscious that he stated as a girl in a senate listening to.

Yeah, Liberals have been running racist, sexist campaigns for 110 years.
Get a clue. What do you think Nixon's "Southern Strategy" was?

I think you are right to a point. It seems logical that a person that has been discriminated against would be more likely to decriminate than a person that has not. Like parents that were abused as a child is more likely to abuse their own children. Not a 100% but close.
