Are you asking about the "vela incident"? It was probably not from a nuclear explosion. The satellite was in error and had perhaps been hit by a small meteorite. No radiation was detected.

I cannot say for certain that anyone of them has, but I did read that China actually used a rocket to destroy one of their own out-of-date communications satellites while it was in orbit. They successfully destroyed the target before its orbit deteriorated and it entered the atmosphere. That should help us to all sleep a little better, right?
