I have kneaded them; they are smooth, shiny, elastic and bounce straight back when I touch them.
Do I really have to let them sit for 45 minutes before I can turn on the heat?

I can tell you can tell when they're ready. I think the heat is already on! Have them for dinner. Why wait?
