Satellite Imagery?

I tried Google Earth which is a good program but the images are 1 to 3 years old. I need a program that will show me the "Today" picture of a particular location.

If anyone can direct me to such a program I would greatly appreciate the help.

Then you need to pay money. The reason that Google and others have free imagery is precisely because they're old.
