I'm currently working on a project about the colour Yellow .. I'm trying to get feedback in regards to what the colour yellow means to you ? ( Emotional responses, thoughts, anything ... theses no wrong answers. ) But mainly how different Genders feel/ think about the colour Yellow. ( if you could state you gender next to your reply that would be great )

Naturally caution comes to mind. Fall leaves are pretty in yellows, a warmed cotton yellow robe fresh out of the shower..umm hum. Mustard is yellow too.

For me, light Yellow represents nagging pain, jaundice, not good stuffm deeoer rich yelow is nice enough but makes me feel that I am being fooled into thinking everything is fine. It's like a forced happy colour.
I'm more comfortable with powder blue and pink as feelgood colours.

Depends on the shade of yellow but i like the lemon yellow or the buttercup yellow. Mellow yellow. Bright and cheerful. Sunshine and flowers and lollipops and sunny days. yellow ribbon and happy faces and smiles. Do you remember the happy face that was in yellow? i am female and bisexual.

Yellow means different things to me. If you're talking about a weak person, yellow comes to mind. If you're speaking of a new baby, yellow comes to mind(blankets,etc.) A soft yellow relaxes me while a loud, bilious yellow screams,"Look at me, I need attention!" That's what yellow does for this female.

Yellow in the Army represents cowardice but for me it has happy connotations. I love the colour yellow, it makes me think of the beautiful summer which always makes me smile!

I'm female, of a certain age as the French say, and to me too, yellow means summer and sunshine.

Cowardice - as in to call someone 'yellow' means you're calling them afriad.
Old - as in something yellows with age.
Dishonest or sensational - as in journalism.
Other than that, I generally think of sunny days, custard or jaundice! Analyse that!

It cheers me up. My car is yellow and many of my rooms at home are yellow or a derivation of it. Probably something to do with the sun and S.A.D....Yellow is nice.
