Definitely cold winters. Good for us, (it kills off the viruses), good for plants, letting them rest, and certainly good for wildlife, ensuring proper food supply. We must all try to roll back global warming, not just for our sakes, but for the whole planet and its biodiversity.

I'm not a Brit, but I've visited Britain on many an occasion and mostly durin the winter, but i'm sad to say that it feel like the Danish summer (I'm from Denmark by the way)... I've read about the Thames Fairs in the 19th century, where during Winter the Thames freezes and people put up stalls and all... I believe Winter should live upto its image and be cold and freezing, we've got enough warm weather in the spring and summer, a biut during autumn as well... I certainly prefer the winters Britain experienced in the past... Well, I'm glad Denmark's not getting warm and stuff and that we still get our snow during the 1st week of november... Cheers!!!

I like Seasons to be distinct, not the way they are now where Winter and Summer are difined as much by the number of daylight hours we have as by temperature. It's all merging into one yeuchy year.

Definitely before, winter should be cold not all this mild rubbish. And summer here should not be as hot and humid.
