You do not say what you are worried about. I have here the bible of serious "stoners". Love Is In the Earth by Melody is to be recommended if you are interested in stones. It is the book of reference used by most people involved in crystal and stone healing. I will just copy what she has to say about any stone listed under “psychic attack”.

AEGIRINE Aegirine has been used to protect one from negative energy and psychic attack and to increase the amount of energy applied by other minerals when used in any healing situations.

BETAFITE This stone is used to grid the body, via wearing and/or carrying, Betafite provides a protective shield to psychic attack, emotional pollution and general uneasiness.

CARNELIAN, CHLORITE AND RUBY CRYSTALS combined can be used to eliminate psychic attack and to assist earth-bound energies to leave an area. Gridding of these three minerals can protect one and ones environment from the return of negative energies.

Citrine is one of the 2 minerals on the planet that does not hold and accumulate negative energy. It dissipates it. No cleaning is ever necessary with citrine. Citrine has so many strengthening elements, and is such a “happy” stone, that you cannot go wrong carrying one in your pocket! It is also called the money stone. I wear mine on a long silver chain and also use it for dowsing.

Only GREEN FLUORITE can bring a cleansing, tidying, mint-like freshness of spring and renewal while eliminating negativity in a room. The other FLUORITES serve other purposes entirely.

MALACHITE I love it just cos it is so pretty! It is a protective stone but primarily in the field of aviation and to dispel symptoms of vertigo. As with LAPIS, the deeper the colour, the greater the power contained within.

LAPIS LAZULI My favourite stone of all. The darker the better for use. It is an excellent protective stone, sheltering the wearer/carrier from physical danger and psychic attacks.

I know there are other stones but you have lots here to work with.

The best way to select a crystal is to go to a good shop that sells them. New Age shops tend to charge much more than rock shops. However they usually have someone in the shop that really resonates well with stones and can help you. When I buy a stone, I see one woman. If I have trouble choosing between a few, she will have me hold them one at a time, and tests my strength. Never fails, I get the one that is strongest. To choose the ones to test, I stand before the stones, close my eyes and take the ones that “feel” right. Sometimes a stone will just scream to you, “take me, take me” drawing your attention to it immediately. If you are choosing your crystal for a specific purpose, hold that purpose in your mind and sometimes that will draw the stone you need to you. This knowing will take the form of a tingle, an awareness, a vibration.

When you get your crystal home, you must clean it before you use it. You must also programme it. You do not just buy it and put it in your pocket. There are many ways to cleanse all of them easy. I like to put mine into a glass container full of water and leave them out under the sun and full moon for a night. The change in them is amazing. Some stones, btw, do not do well in water so take a care. Primarily these are the porous ones.
There are many other ways. Wash them in seawater and energize it in the sun.

Smudge it with incense. Pass it through the smoke many times.

Place the crystal on a crystal cluster or an energizing mineral for 12 – 24 hours.

Cleanse it in flowing water. Water is the universal cleanser.

Soak the crystal in flowers for 24 hours. Rose petals, honeysuckle, anything will do.

Soak the stone in brown rice for 24 hours. The rice will be delicious when cooked too!

To programme your stone, after it is clean means you are instructing the crystal what is necessary and you must be precise to strengthen the use of the crystal. The simplest for of programming is to just hold it in your hand for a few moments and concentrate on what it is to be used for.

I am also going to give you a little ditty that a very strong and powerful man gave me a few years ago. He comes from ancient Gypsy lineage and has “the sight”. LOL That is a very handy trait for a judge, which is his career. He sees through criminals and shyster lawyers!

Very rarely does anyone have much happen from a hex in the West. In the west the kids playing with these things are dabbling in dangerous things they have no true knowledge of. They are bumbling and chances are they will be hurting themselves more than you. In every window sill of my home, to prevent against attacks on my home, I have a small mirror facing outwards. This is meant to reflect evil back to from whence it came. This is also an ancient method. I have a wonderful oath for such things. It comes from Druidic times.

Understand, if you are strong in spirit and pure of intention and heart, you are virtually untouchable by such nastiness. Keep yourself in a strong and positive frame of mind. One thing highly recommended and that I like is to imagine myself surrounded by a protective white light. It works for me. I also visualize this light as I drift off to sleep. This is the best thing you can do to prevent yourself from these things.

If these threats come from friends, might I advise you choose better friends. Anyone who does such things is playing with evil and could get badly burned. In ways they cannot even imagine!

black obsidian (on the flip side, this stone also helps you in communication with the dead, so be careful how you use it, if this is not your intention).
malachite (only buy the tumbled version of this stone, as the "raw" version may have dust spores present that can be fatal (yes fatal) to some people.
jade (this is a good luck stone, power stone, and a stone for prosperity and wealth also)
you can also use a clear quartz crystal (which symbolizes pure and honest intention)...an amethyst (which symbolizes the eternal spirit)....rose quartz (love of the universal order, self, and all others)..... but if you want a powerful protection stone, I would choose malachite........
when we think negative energy protection, we think....deep green or black stones as a general rule.....
someone just mentioned flourite.........YES! they are absolutly right....go with that also.......that is a wonderfully protective stone....I have two pendulums..one is flourite...it has hues of green and lavender, I use it for scrying.....it is beautiful...but you could get a piece of crystal or stone and wear these around your neck, or carry in your pocket for protection..........good luck!

Yes. These people are fools. Rock that quartz crystal. Take a syncretic approach to religion and reality, and don't cling to a particular belief system. They are all paths to the Infinite. If love is in your heart, that is all that matters. Christ loves you and he would not condemn you for doing such things. He would encourage you to do so. People today have a very distorted view of religion and visualize God as an authority figure that is going to punish you. This is dangerous because God is the opposite of this. He is tolerant, accepting, loving and understanding. The only thing that "angers" him is a lack of love... because God is Love. The Christians of today are the Pharisees of old. The very people Christ was warning you against are the people that have become hardcore intolerant "Christians". God loves you.
