I was looking at this laptop, an Acer Aspire 5630

would this be able to run games like Battlefield 2 or CSS comfortably?. Also i was looking at another cheaper, laptop with a GeForce Go 6150, is this any better than this one?
this would be for casual gaming.

I wouldn't buy it, but it isn't just because of the vid card. For the money you could get an HP. If I was going to buy a laptop, I would be wanting the hard drive to have a speed of 7200rpm. The cpu and then the vid card. I don't like shared memory in vid cards. Right now Circuit City is having a sale on laptops. Also you can go to hp.com and see what they have to offer.

My laptop got a Core 2 Duo T7400 and a 256mb geforce 7900. It still cant handle current games on high resolutions, dont buy the geforce 6150 one if you are planning to use it for the next 2 years. The trick to buying a laptop is to try to get all the stuff that you like. Because the laptop is still not very upgradable, you will kick yourself in the future for buying parts that you dont like. If you play games then look at the 17' laptops where they can fit a bigger video card in there. If you wanna keep the cost down then select the cheapest Core 2 Duo processor, dont pick Core Duo, its yesterday's cpu.

Man, that laptop will kick *** for gaming. The cheaper one would probably do just as well
