I have had pains in my chest, neck and left arm. My left arm has had pains along the top half. I had a physio massage and he said that i have inflammation round the back near my shoulder blade and that i have lots of knots, after the massage my arm was hurting again and he massaged it and fixed it but now (this has been going on for about 3 weeks) now its back again...im 30 and have slightly high cholestrol level (6.4)but am very active, running 3 times week etc.....

Please don't be afraid of going to the doctor- I'm 35 with slightly high cholesterol 5.2 but 4 months ago developed chest pains and sore shoulder, went to the doc expecting something awful but there was a very simple explanation and a staighforward cure - I'm not going to give you details in case you are inclined to self diagnose but please go and get some peace of mind.

your best bet would to go see a doctor because even though your active you may still have a number of different thing sthat could be causeing you pain . Pain in the chest is a warning so be happy your one of the lucky ones that get a warning alot of people are not so lucky ,they die without notice. I hope you have health insurance. if not go to commuinty hospital and have it checked out it's better to be safe not sorry. good luck lucky guy.

I would recommend consulting your dr about this to be on the safe side. Especially b/c of the chest pain.
