Ways to wear a cap...
facing forward....normal or neutral
backwards.........waiting for someone/something
left side..............be aware and stay loose
right side............locked in and ready to go

I always thought that baseball caps were worn normally for game play forward unless you are the catcher. Other than that, having the bill to the side or sloppy is a hip hop or goofball way of wearing it.

It means your too "cool" to wear it like other people or too lazy to look in the mirror and straighten it up, or too stupid to know how to put a cap on right.
My personal belief is it is usually the second and third option depending on the person. The first option is just the one that the people who wear it like this like to give.

Frankly, This certainly has meaning somewhere. But I feel that if you need to express yourself through the way you wear your hat then you are pretty lame. Hats are made to be worn with the bill square to the forehead. If the manufacturer wanted their hats worn in a different manner they would make them that way.
