Seriously, how dumber can the story really get. No wonder why the ratings are so low now. It got from being pretty good to being unbelievably lame!

While I do not think it is "dumb" or "stupid", I do get irritated that we have so many unanswered questions that they have not gotten answered.
One board I frequent has about 200 unanswered questions and who knows how many dropped storylines (black rock, the two bodies in the caves, etc).
I will still watch (I invested over two seasons into this show) but it may be recorded instead of me itching to watch it now. Hopefully it picks up before the end of this season.
What I really hate is that Lost was supposed to be only three seasons long. When season one kicked so much butt the networks extended Lost to five (or seven) seasons, which means now they need to put a lot of filler into something that was originally three seasons long. No thanks to the networks, we might not see the end of the show if the ratings continue to drop because of their "brilliant" idea to extend the show.

I started out watching it and thought it was going to be one of the best shows out there. Now I find it one of the most bizarre and stupid show there is. The rating are dropping so they need to do something really good or it won't make it.

I agree. This past week's episode was the worse so far, imo. Unless they're using the Desmond stuff to set the show up for later on, then it's just totally pointless.

I still enjoy the show. Sure it has gotten a little more out there, but that's part of the fun of the show. Go watch Survivor if you don't like Lost.

well, only so much can happen to a group of people trapped on an island. though gilligan's island was way popular than lost is now. maybe the writers should try making the plot more normal.

since it went to Sky it lost about 3/4 of the British public.
and so now they are really running out of new ideas!
Can you believe the show was suppose to las for ten years????

I wasn't that crazy about it from the beginning, but the story line was interesting. Now it is absolutely stupid. I don't know what they think they are doing.
