I realise that Dublin is the best place to be on St Patrick's day I have been there in the past but just started a new job and am stuck in London this year

London has a St Patrick's Day Festival Week running from the 10th of March to the 18th and there are a variety of events happening from parties to parades. You will find details of the events at the sites below:

No, but why go to London when the festival is Irish??
Go to Dublin and see the parade! It's amazing!
I go every year! It's amazing! I would reccomend it! The vibe is great! Or as they would say it in Dublin: The buzz is amazing!
Im Irish and I just love it! They have people from all over the world in it!
If you can't go and see it, Then try and see it on RTE!
You might be able to see it on the internet!!!

Aye! Aye! For Saint George's day! I think it has to do with the idea that it is a more serious occasion.
Anyone wanting to drink and be merry can somehow identify with Saint Patrick and it is celebrated all over.

Normally everyone Irish, English, Scotish and whoever are holding something to do with St.Pats day. But what about St. Georges day who celcbrates that?
