This is called a crossed Cannizzaro reaction. The formaldehyde will be oxidized to formic acid and the benzaldehyde will be reduced to the alcohol (phenylmethanol or benzyl alcohol).

H(C=O)H + C6H5(C=O)H --> H(C=O)OH + C6H5CH2OH
