I'm embarrassed to admit that the sight of blood makes me faint.
When I was in college I had an ingrown toenail operated on. I had to come back 3 days after the surgery to have the cotton wicking taken out. The nurse put my foot in a bucket of warm soapy water and told me to gently work the wick out. I did. I looked down and saw a small fountain of blood coming out of my toe. I fainted.
My partner was in the hospital having his gall bladder out. They put in an IV but missed the vein. Blood got everywhere. I sat down: if I hadn't I would have fainted.
I should carry smelling salts with me...

There would be a problem if I was, as I work in a medical laboratory. Not only do I draw blood from people using needles, I also analyze said blood.
